LETS BE A HEALTHY CHURCH IN 2012 The Missionary Society and the Health Ministry will be initiating a Fitness Program for the Church. Doniele Francis, a Certified Personal Trainer, will be conducting the program. There will be two classes each week, one hour sessions, initial weigh-in, body measurement and incentive programs. First AME College Tour: All students 9th -12th grade are invited to tour North Carolina A & T State University, Winston-Salem State University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Clark University on April 2 -4, 2012. The cost is $385.00. A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is due by February 5, 2012 and the final payment is due by March 11, 2012. Cleaning for a Reason: If you know any woman currently undergoing chemotherapy, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - once per month for 4 months while she is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women. It's our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there that care. Be a blessing to someone and pass this information along. http://www.cleaningforareason.org/ . Cleaning for a Reason is also looking for local cleaning companies to donate their services.

To all tutors, students and parents: We will be conducting tutoring sessions here at the church every Tuesday evening from 6:45-8:15 pm. If your child needs academic assistance, please bring them to the church. If you are interested in being a tutor but have not had an opportunity to sign up, the signup sheet is still in the narthex so please indicate your area of interest and availability.
